Preparing a will is therefore one of the most important decisions you can make for yourself and the future of your family. Not only can a will legally protect your spouse, children and assets, it can ensure that your estate is handled according to your wishes in the event of your death.
In the long run, isn’t worth investing the time and effort now, while you are able to ensure that your wishes are carried out and that your loved ones are properly cared for? We can help you put a plan in place and guide you to make the best choice for your particular circumstances, so you can enjoy the rest of your life with peace of mind.
We provide advice and representation on a variety of Wills and Estates matters, including:
- Individual Wills
- Continuing Power of Attorneys

The benefits of an International Will are not available to everyone. If you have an International Will that meets the minimum standards and you reside in a country that abides by the requirements of The Convention Providing a Uniform Law on the Form of an International Will (Washington Convention) your Will be valid across boundaries of the signatories to the Washington Convention. Only 12 countries have introduced the requisite domestic legislation to recognize international Wills: Australia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Belgium, Canada, Cyprus, Ecuador, France, Italy, Libya, Niger, Portugal, and Slovenia. Although the United States is not on the list, 15 jurisdictions within that country actually have passed the necessary legislation to recognize international Wills. Those jurisdictions are: Alaska, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, Virginia, and Washington DC.
